Apple will accelerate the withdrawal of its factories from China, – WSJ
The Apple company, a manufacturer of digital electronics, intends to speed up the withdrawal of its factories from China due to mass unrest.
RBK-Ukraine reports this with reference to The Wall Street Journal.
This decision of the company was facilitated by the riots at the iPhone factory in the city of Zhengzhou, during which hundreds of workers at the Foxconn Technology Group factory staged protests due to restrictions aimed at suppressing the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Apple specialists who are responsible for the supply of components and spoke on condition of anonymity, say the company no longer feels comfortable with a large part of its business concentrated in one region.
Apple said one solution is to bring in more collectors, including neighbors with China, India and Vietnam.
