The largest Russian-language aggregator The Bestchange crypto exchange announced that it has limited ruble transactions to 95 exchange services. The services used the “white triangle” scheme, the aggregator announced.

Representatives of BestChange spoke about numerous complaints from customers about blocking of bank cards during transfers and signs of the “white triangle” scheme. The scheme assumes that the exchanger acts as an intermediary and issues the details of one customer to another — without transferring funds independently and without checking the origin of fiat/cryptocurrency.

The aggregator does not have evidence of the involvement of specific exchange platforms in illegal financial activities. The restriction of ruble transactions was only applied to those services where transfers were split and funds were transferred using “unverified processing” and p2p platforms.

The restrictions only apply to transactions involving the Russian ruble, and the same 95 exchangers continue to provide services to users with other assets, according to BestChange.

Earlier, experts from the Bi.Zone Brand Protection platform reported on a new fraudulent scheme targeting cryptocurrency holders from Russia. The number of detected cases of this crypto scheme has already exceeded several hundred and continues to grow.
