Shadman and Shadbase are names used by illustrator Shaddai Prejean.

Very little is known about the character but he is said to have been born in Zurich, Switzerland, according to the podcast Sleepy Cabin.

He has always been photographed online wearing a mask or face covering.

He launched his YouTube channel on March 28, 2010, but hasn’t uploaded any new videos since 2018.

When clicking on his videos the viewer is told that «the video may be inappropriate for some users».

He has built up a reputation for his illustrations of loli and characters like Elastigirl.

According to court documents obtained by Insider, Prejean was arrested by the Glendale Police Department on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. He posted bail on November 10, court records show.

The charges are related to an alleged October 26 incident that took place in Los Angeles County, according to court records.

Per California law, the charge is punishable by two to four years of imprisonment in state prison, imprisonment up to a year in county jail, a fine up to $10,000, or by both fine and imprisonment.

There have not yet been reports about the alleged incident that led to Prejean’s arrest. The Glendale Police Department was unable to immediately fulfill Insider’s request for further information.

According to court documents, Prejean was not present during an October 28 court appearance, but his counsel declared a doubt as to his mental confidence. Per the documents, Prejean was subject to examination and a mental competency hearing on Monday morning and appeared in court for «further proceedings» on Friday morning. It was not immediately clear when he would next appear in court.

The public defender listed in court documents as Prejean’s counsel and a Facebook page associated with Shadman did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

A YOUTUBER notorious online for his pornographic art has reportedly been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles.

Court documents appear to show Swiss-born Shadman, real name Shaddai Prejean, was arrested on October 26 in the Californian city.

Details of the case filed against Shadman in the Los Angeles County Superior Courts at Glendale Courthouse have been posted on UniCourt.

It reveals the 31-year-old has reportedly been booked under section 245 (A)1 which, under the California Penal Code, carries charges for assault with a deadly weapon.

Section 245 (A) 1 of the legislature reads: «Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment.»

Details about the alleged attack have not yet been disclosed by the police or official records, however.

Twitter user Kiki Farms also posted documents appearing to show Shadman had been arrested.

The user wrote: “Shаdmаn wаs аrrested in L.A. for Assаult with а Deаdly Weаpon,” adding, “Goodbye, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye.”
