The United States did not encourage or enable Ukrainian forces to strike inside Russia, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on December 6, commenting on the explosions at Russian military airfields.

Meanwhile, Minister US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the US is not trying to prevent Ukraine from developing its own long-range strike capabilities.
