WSJ: The US modified HIMARS installations to prevent Ukraine from launching missiles at Russia
The USA secretly modified the latest HIMARS missile launchers, which were transferred to Ukraine, so that they could not be used to attack Russia with long-range missiles, in particular ATACMS, the radius of which is about 300 kilometers, writes The Wall Street Journal with reference to unnamed American officials.
Joe Biden's administration considers this precautionary measure necessary to reduce the risk of a wider war with Moscow, the publication writes.
