Rosseti estimated the damage to its electrical grid complex from the operation of this farm illegally connected to electricity at 1.2 million rubles.

Another 14 mining devices were discovered on the territory of a neighboring farming complex. The owner of the farm arbitrarily laid a 200-meter long cable and connected it to a substation that supplies part of the village. The damage is tentatively estimated at 950,000 rubles.

The third farm with 23 mining devices was located next to the above-mentioned complex. The extent of damage caused by its activities is still being determined by the energy sector.

All energy equipment seized from three mining farms was handed over to law enforcement agencies for investigation.

Previously, representatives of Rosseti Northern Caucasus stated that in the Republic of Dagestan, since the beginning of the year, 58 cases of illegal connection to energy networks for cryptocurrency mining have been recorded.
