NASA helicopter sets altitude record during flight on Mars: details
The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced the 35th successful flight of the Ingenuity Martian rotorcraft. This time, the device set a record for height.

As NASA notes, a helicopter weighing 1.8 kilograms, under during the last flight over the surface of the Red Planet, was able to rise to a height of 14 meters. This, in turn, became his own new record.
The previous record was 12 meters. The rotorcraft was able to reach this bar three times during the Mars mission.
Also interesting is that this was Ingenuity's second flight after installing a major upgrade that gave it two new capabilities:

- use of digital charts for navigation.
