On Saturday, December 3, the Russian army attacked in two directions in the Donetsk region. The fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to shoot down a Russian plane near Bakhmut, says the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“The enemy is concentrating its efforts on restraining the actions of units of the defense forces, carrying out engineering equipment of defensive lines and positions. In the Avdiiv and Bakhmut directions, it continues to conduct an offensive and actively uses aviation to support ground groups,” the General Staff said.
According to the military, during the day, the Russian military launched two missile and ten air strikes, and also carried out three shelling from rocket systems of salvo fire at the positions of our troops and settlements along the contact line. In particular, a civil infrastructure object in the city of Kramatorsk was hit by a missile.

“The enemy continues to suffer losses. Thus, on December 2, as a result of fire damage to the enemy concentration area in the city of Starobilsk, Luhansk region, the enemy lost about 30 servicemen wounded and 14 killed. During December 2, in the Melitopol and Vasyliv districts of the Zaporizhia region, the occupiers lost more than 270 people wounded. The information about the dead is being clarified,” writes the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
