Macron mentioned “security guarantees” for Russia. “Servant of the People” responded

NATO allies need to think about what security guarantees they can give to Russia when it agrees to return to the negotiating table with Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview with TF1 on December 3. In his opinion, this question could be discussed in the context of a new security architecture in Europe after the war ends. we will protect our allies and NATO member states, while guaranteeing Russia's own security the day it returns to the negotiating table,” the French president said.

Macron recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly expressed fears that “NATO is coming to his door.” According to the French president, he discussed the future security architecture during a recent visit to the United States with President Joe Biden.
